Farming is a skill which is based on the INT stat, your maximum Farming skill is twice your INT. You need at least 50 INT in order to get 100% Farming. In order to learn the skill you must obtain the Farming Scroll from the Shop, this will give you 20% skill. This skill allows you to farm various items within the game that are used in Alchemy.

In order to farm you need to have a Hoe equipped, you can buy the Hoe from the Blacksmith. A hoe requires 65 STR in order to swing it at full pace however, you can still farm with any STR. When you've bought a Hoe, you need to go to the Shop and buy seed bags. Once you've got all the items required, you need to find a farming patch. This can be identified by brown dirt on the farm and town maps.

When you double click on the seed bag your cursor will change. Click on the dirt and a small farming plant should appear. In order to farm the plant press the control key and click with your mouse over the plant. Depending on which seed bag you used, the various fruits and vegetables will appear under your character. In order to skill Farming, you need to farm the highest skill item available to you.
