Earth Day!

Global warming is serious business. In order to celebrate the Earth and help bring attention to a global problem, Helbreath USA staff are still doing our bit for Global Warming. Are you?

The heat has started to effect all fire based spells in game. Both player magic and magic used by monsters have been changed. How? Well no one really knows the full effect that the change in temperatures will have on fire spells in game. We hope that this will settle down in game within a week. Be careful, meteor strikes during crusades in town will most likely be fatal!

Along with the confusion of fire spells, we also want to see who can find, claw, trade and obtain the highest amount of gold within their warehouse by the reset on the 23rd April, 2009. The people with the highest 3 amounts who complete the form, will have their chance to win the items listed below.

Keep in mind, the gold used to enter will be 100% removed from all 3 winners. Be careful to submit it on the right character other wise you'll end up penniless!

Winners

  • First Place: Muppetje with 63,000,000 (Xelima Ring)
  • Second Place: BadtzMaru with 41,500,000 (Merien Plate)
  • Third Place: Ull 38,053,080 (Demon Ring)

Winners will be contacted via email and announced on the site after the reset on the 23rd April, 2009.

We can't let mages have all the fun though! Weapon dice damage has also been increased on most weapons (and bows).

Happy Hunting!

Do your part for the environment, try playing Helbreath in the dark!

Energy Saving Tips!
Turn off lights that aren't being used. You don't need a light on in the bedroom if you're in another room playing the PC. Turning off any excess lights will save a lot of energy. Open your blinds instead.
Turn off the TV if you're not watching it. Having it on for back ground noise is costing you money! Listen to music on your PC instead or stream a radio station via your PC.
If you can't turn off your PC, put your PC on standby mode when you need to go afk for any length of time. It uses less power than and remember to turn off the monitor. It costs about 50 cents a day (area dependant) to run your PC all day and that doesn't include your monitor!
Put on a jumper if you're cold rather than turning on the heater. If you need to have your thermostat set, don't set it to extremes. Use comfortable temperatures and adjust your clothing for that little bit extra.
Turn off switches at the wall! (Kettle, Toaster, Coffee Maker etc) They still use power even though they aren't doing anything.
Use cold water to wash your clothes in if possible to save on heating costs and adjust the water levels if you can. There isn't any need to use a full tub of water when you're only doing a few things (or wash more things at once).
Hang clothes out to dry and let the sun do it's magic. If you can't hang your clothes outside, don't over load the dryer and check the lint filter often. Don't put light clothing (t-shirts) in the dryer with heavy clothing (jeans), put like items in together for a better performance. Don't over dry!
Run the dishwasher when it's full or only do dishes when you have more than a few things to wash. Use cold water if you can. Don't rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, most dishwashers can cope with a little grit. If there is more than a little grit, scrape it off with an already dirty utensil. Load the dishwasher according to the manufacturers instructions and be sure you're using the correct products. Some dishwashers can only have specific cleaning powder / liquid that will increase performance.
