We are aware of the crashing client, deleting sound files inside the "Helbreath USA\SOUNDS" directory reduces the in game crashing.
Note: If you've deleted the above files, you will need to run the HelGame.exe to load the game not the Helbreath.exe.
In an effort to provide better service for our games we initiated a move of our games to a new ISP. This caused a situation between iENT and the now old ISP of HBUSA that we want you to be aware of. We have been setting up the new HBUSA server with our new ISP so that it would be fully tested and ready to go but the current ISP may shut down the live server before our new client is completed. We had expected to be able to take our time with this by leaving the game on the current ISP but that is not feasible. The companies are dealing with their issues so we cannot discuss those further.
We have the client that we are still working on, but our schedule had been set up without the urgency it now requires. It is possible to use this client to connect but it crashes. We continue to work on it and have another programmer scheduled to be available soon to assist in finishing this project. He is returning from emergency family leave. In the meantime we request your assistance in reporting any issues that we have not found thus far.
We understand that this changeover may cause some issues for some players. We will take care of those issues on an individual basis. After the changeover, we will also hold some events specially for players who make it through this trying period. We think you will like the rewards we will provide those loyal customers.
The the forums might be able to assist you.
We have found that playing without sound reduces the crashing. You can turn the sound off in game by pressing control s, twice. Deleting the above mentioned sound files has been repoted by other users to enable them to play with sound.
Thank you for your patience at this time.
Sincerely,
Helbreath USA Game Support & iEntertainment
