Protect your Items!

This is subject to change, and is to be used as a guide line, not as a definition of the rule itself. Sharing items is not recommended by iEnt or Helbreath Staff.

Item sharing is your own responsibility and an action not supported by iEnt.

Given that sharing items within the game is common practice and something that players enjoy doing, the rule has been reviewed the current policy and it has been described in more detail below.

Where as IENT still don't support the practice and reserve the right to decline any requests to restore items, the following has been put together as a guide line for players to assist them in protecting their items.

Passing an item for such reasons as “they wanted to look at it in their bag” or “they wanted to take a screenshot on their character” are not classed as valid reasons to have your item restored. Such requests will be declined and the other person warned. You willfully handed over your items to another player with out protecting yourself.

If you accidentally pass an item, or drop it with out a Zemstone of Sacrifice on your possession it is your own responsibility. IENT will not restore items lost in such a manner. There is no “Zem bug” where items drop instead of the Zemstone. Miscalculating, forgetting or going out risking your items without a Zemstone is your own responsibility and not that of IENT. Items lost in such a matter will not be restored.

If you do share your items, the following screenshot style must be stored on your computer some where. This should be kept up-to-date, and it's recommended that you do it for each time you hand over the item, or set a period of time that the item is to be within their possession and "renew" it for each "session" or "time period" should it be an item that you regularly share.

  • The date must be current and unedited. The older your screenshot is the less likely your chances of having the item restored is. Keep the screenshot current.

  • Showing the Chat screen with the text unedited.

  • The person borrowing the item must state "I NAME, will return the item as requested" (or words to that effect, players name must be visible within the chat screen)

  • Name changes keep the agreement valid.

  • Character transfers void the screenshot, unless the character is being transferred to the same owner. However if a character is traded off to another account and items are moved off along with it, items can be claimed by their owner. If a week has passed all previous agreements are classed as invalid.

  • Screenshots can be kept on your computer until such a time that you need them. There is no need to send them in.

  • Keep the screenshots up to date. The more recent the screenshot the higher your chances of having the item returned. If the screenshot is more than 2 weeks old you risk not having the item restored. This isn't a free pass to keep the item for more than 2 weeks and claim it as your own.
  • If you do share your account and one of the people you share with fails to get the screenshot, we'll be unable to assist you.

  • Any one who you allow on your account is equally responsible for the actions as you would be.

  • Each situation will be handled separately depending on the information provided by all parties involved. Once a decision is made it’s final and will not be changed.

If you feel that you’ve had items stolen from you, complete a TIXX or email Game Master with all the information you can give. Please make sure that there is only 1 person emailing on your behalf.

Remember this is a guide to protecting your items with the screenshots. IEntertainment will not be responsible for any items loss due to confusion. This information is ONLY for LENDING items.

There is no such thing as a temp trade. If you trade (or give) your items to another person we can not undo it as a 'temp trade'.

Taking a screenshot of an agreement to trade items for characters or an account are NOT valid and will not be actioned. Use a GM to hold the items. IEntertainment do not recommend trading accounts, as the original owner must write to the accounts department / games department and notify them of the change of details. This quite often takes weeks, where a character transfer takes a few days.

Please note: This is does not mean that you can lend your items out frequently and have them restored. Be careful with your items.

This is not retroactive. Previous rulings and decisions made will not be changed.
